Having done this (file>save as disc image) I have got 3 icons on my desktop. Similar to Windows 10 DVD burner, this function can only produce a data disc, but not playable DVD. Having used EMC8 on PC I thought using toast I had to convert and save my avi file to hard disk as an iso file prior to burning. I have an avi file which I have successfully encoded and burnt to DVD but not sure how I did it.
